Picking an Online Coach

It's hard to find the right coach for you.

Everyone is different. people use different approaches, work with different types of clients and promote themselves in a different way. Some Coaches will only work with a certain type of person whether they be into a specific sport, ranked above a certain number or done a certain show and placed well.

With so much dis-information that is thrown out there in internet land, how do you pick which ones will be a good fit for you? It is not only important that the values and methods of a Coach gel with your own, but that they can indeed produce the results that they say they can.

In the video below Coach Dave Tate of Elite FTS, goes through the pit falls, benefits and other factors of using an online Coach. He covers what to look for, what not to look for plus a whole host of things in-between.

Let me know what you think!

Bad coaches/Trainers/ people on social Media/anyone who doesn't out the years in.

Hey Guys,

Today I want to share an article with you about bad trainers.

Now most of you know that the quickest way to get me ranting is to talk about kids coaching on Social Media without putting the hours in. I must have wrote massive rants on this at least 5 times then deleted them as I hate being negative on here.

Now everyone has the right to chase their dreams and I highly encourage everyone to try to make a career out of their passion. The problem comes however, when people want to go straight to selling £1000 worth of coaching without going through the process (putting work in for YEARS).

Doing a successful diet yourself does not qualify you to coach anyone.

Until you have coached for at least 10 years then your opinion isn't worth shit. Put the fucking work in.

I want to rant more than this put THIS ARTICLE says it much better than I ever could.

let me know what you think!

Stay healthy,

Mike

Great Video series on Business within the fitness industry

Hey Guys,

Today I wanted to share with you a video series from Dave Tate on moving from 'Passion to Profit' within the fitness industry.

Whether people want to admit it or not, training and coaching people on any level is a business. Even if you want to simply be a better coach or trainer, you better be dedicating a large portion of your time into becoming better at running your business.

Hear me out for a second...

The better you get at running your business, the more effective you will be in coaching/training your clients. This is because as you get better at running your business you will be able to dedicate more time to things like,
  • Client interaction
  • Responding to E mails and calls promptly
  • Sharing your clients success
  • Dedicate moire time into educating yourself on how to be better in your field
  • Analysing data from your clients to establish what works and what doesn't.
  • Plus many more.
In fact I would go as far to say that if you aren't taking the time to improve your business knowledge then you're not being the best coach/trainer you can be.

The following series is a little long, but is broken up into parts so that you can watch them in between clients, while eating, travelling etc.

Let me know what you think!
